What happens if I leave employment during the Benefits plan?

Your Benefits Plan will end if you leave employment for any reason. If you resign your employer may be entitled to compensation (in the form of a "termination fee") for the loss of the benefit of your promise to work at a reduced salary for the duration of the Benefits Plan. The termination fee will be equal to the total outstanding payments at the termination of your employment and may be taken from your final net salary payment.

If your employer is unable to recover the termination fee from your final salary for any reason, they may require payment from you directly within 14 calendar days of such request being made.

In any case, in the event of your employment ending you should consult with your employer to discuss settlement.
